"They did not have any red wine for 3 days. I also asked for a large beer and they did not have any large glasses, yet 20 mins later they were serving beer in large glasses!! The hotel is very near to the Ajax football stadium so we ensured that they were not playing while we were there. It’s very convenient for a metro in and out of town. "

"Very convenient location next to Almere Centraal railway station. There are good shopping possibilities in the opposite side of the station. The hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was not included in the rate but it was priced reasonably, so we paid for it couple of days. The room was very spacious with two beds big enough for two people. The beds were comfortable, pillows maybe not so. In Dutch style the room was a bit cold but the blanket warm. Room day cleaning was by request only. "

"The people at the front desk were helpful and friendly; check-in was a breeze. I liked that the room I had was a studio apartment. However, the kitchen could be equipped with basic condiments like salt, pepper and cooking oil. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I slept well. "I don’t understand some of the negative reviews, we have just come back from a memorable trip, staying at the Hampton by Hilton, Amsterdam. The location is very convenient for Amsterdam Central, tram stop opposite and five minute journey to Centraal Station. Surprisingly easy to get to from Schipol.
