"I didn't like that we only had 1 working lamp in the room out of 3. I called the front desk for at least 1 bulb to use another lamp. They said they'd tell maintenance & no one ever showed up. That was Friday night & we left Sunday morning. Other than that everything was good. When I checked in & out, the staff was friendly & informative. Room was clean. Equipped with fridge & microwave which is always a plus. Also let me add they had a heated pool which I wasn't aware of until check-in. So bring...

"Check in was stellar. Bar was phenomenal. At breakfast coffee staff seemed overwhelmed. Check out was stiff. Super clean. Parking was a challenge due to Mardi Gras and hotel didnt seem concerned or offer much support in this area. Bar tender made up for it. Clean fresh and comfortable room. Don't let your staff become complacent...some attitude noted this time that I havent experienced in the past."

"Stayed here prior to a cruise. Very disappointed in the cost of a shuttle to the port $35 pp. we had taken a shuttle from Houston to the hotel at a cost of $26 for a much longer journey. Next time will stay closer to the port in a hotel with a free shuttle"

" I had an okay stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the check-in process smooth. However, I found it a bit tricky to locate the actual front desk area, which could have been better marked. The hotel's location is great if you're someone who enjoys being right on the beach, but keep in mind that it's quite far from other attractions and restaurants. If you're planning to explore the city, it might not be the most convenient choice....
