"Near the Royal Mile but quiet. Bus station and train station less than 10 min walking . A lot of restaurants and shops around. Activities for soccer game ( Scotland vs others) at the property. Frozen meal in the lobby in case of emergency....There is no cleaning each day included but available for a small price."

"The hotel was alright. We spent only a night. We came in at 11 pm. Checking in took a tad longer than we are used to. The bathroom definitely needed better cleaning as the shower area had molds. The faucet in the bathroom was not well placed. Every time we tried to use the faucet, it caused the water to spill all over. We went to the breakfast area at 9.15 and already the orange juice was finished. I requested the staff to replenish it, but it fell on deaf ears."

"Very nice property in a quiet area. 15 minute walk from Brunstane station. Friendly staff. The room we stayed in was very spacious by UK, Europe standards. Nearest market and restaurants about a mile from the property. The beach is just half a mile away. "

"This property is close to the Royal Mile and the university, making it very convenient to shopping, dining and visiting my daughter in her dorm at the university. The front desk staff is very helpful and pleasant, even when the lobby is full of people. I've stayed here twice in the last year and have had very good experiences each time. "This hotel is away from the hustle & bustle of city life, but it is right on the bus route in and out of Edinburgh. We got instructions from the desk staff on how to use the Lothian Bus system. Breakfasts were buffet style and kept supplied by the staff. I enjoyed the wide variety of food choices for breakfast."

"The City Hotel was perfect for a stay in Dunfermline. It's right by the heritage quarter and Pittencrieff Park. Rooms are very clean and the staff are lovely. Rooms had a good sized modern bathroom and a comfy double bed .Breakfast is cooked to order so miles better than the usual buffet breakfast under heat lamps. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. "
