"We stopped as a family of 5 for 1 night. We were happy with the fact that each room was a suite with a pullout couch, comfortably allowing us to spread out and sleep. The rooms and bathrooms were brand new and clean. The pool was warm and we enjoyed it. Our single disappointment was the "hot breakfast" and advertisements showing breakfast sandwiches, potato/sausage/gravy bowls, waffles, etc. Somehow this month old hotel had zero meat, eggs or potato options. "We needed a conveinent place for an overnight after seeing a show in Wheeling. The Island was very affordable for the night. The room and property were clean and the staff was very pleasant. Abbey's is a GREAT place to eat just down the road. "
