"Good layover location. Communication was excellent as we were commuting between Sydney and Brisbane and arrived late. Lake water was warm, it was a shame the kids couldnt experience the water park as they were up early but park doesnt open until 10am. Very little food options in area, definitely recommend bringing food for breakfast."

"Check in fine, if you don't mind looking at your host's big belly through a hole, the size of a football, in his shirt! Host himself appears to be a bit shy and you have to do most of the talking, although the dog is very friendly. Whilst clean and comfortable the motel needs a lot of long overdue maintenance and the noise from the taps in particular are something else. "Had a lovely time with the family, meet some lovely people there (more guest) staff at desk was not as friendly as stated in other reviews. Pool was lovely & clean, lovely little play ground for the kid's, was a bit concerned about the bird aviary as the wire had pretty large holes & some of the Indian ringnecks did try to bite. But over all has a lovely stay & will definitely go back again."
