"The size and location of the property is excellent. I was advised that I must bring all requirements including linen. I can understand linen and I arranged a linen service as bringing linen for 7 people was too much as I was also advised to bring everything from soap, toilet paper, washing up detergent and washing powder for the washing machine. I can understand when staying for an extended stay but for 3 nights. On arrival there was soap and washing detergent and powder for the machine which I was thankful for these provisions. The crockery, glasses and pots and pans were well provided. The place was a good size for 7 people. There were quite a lot of light fittings that the lights did not work and this made the place rather dark. All three garbage bins were half full and I put all out for collection even though I think the green bin would be the only one to be emptied. There was no eco friendly bags to place food wastes in the green bin so I had to put food wastes in the red bin which I feel was not what is required. As for the maintenance the toilet roll holder in the ensuite needs attention, soap dispenser in the ensuite does not work and needs replacing. One of the wooden chairs is very loose and should not be sat on. I left it near the television and the verticle blinds in the lounge room does not close. The dvd player in the lounge room apparently does not have any leads so was unable to be used."

"The house is beautifully presented and far better appointed than advertised. The weather was mixed during our stay but we were able to enjoy being both indoors and out. Hathead is special place, staying in this house in such a beautiful location was a wonderful experience. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it."

"It’s right next door to the recently renovated shop which is super convenient - and it’s a short walk to the creek/beach. There’s not much backyard and no front yard as it’s attached to the aforementioned shop - so it would be ok for a family with little kids or like us with older kids who didn’t come with us! Whole house has been done up in the past year or so - so everything’s fresh and clean and new. We’re planning on staying in it again with no hesitation."

"The property was generally as described and has had a recent average renovation. Needs general maintenance and better cleaning. Kitchen is well equipped but cooktop and oven difficult to use. No fans downstairs nor in one very small bedroom with bunks. Third bedroom very small. Upstairs has little insulation or cross breeze and unbearably hot. Would greatly benefit from air conditioning. Attached to other duplex and lots of cross noise from neighbours. No yard but good courtyard and two hanging spaces for laundry which is great for a beach holiday. Laundry facilities good. Owners must have a dog which is great but the cleaning didn’t cater for it! Windows also very dirty. Hat Head is a great location wherever you are in the town so that makes up for Arcos’ shortcomings."
