"From reading other people's comments about the out dated looking rooms and loud airplane take-off/landings, i thought it wasn't bad for staying overnight. We was there end of November and Beijing is really cold, so we needed heating and had to use the A/C and that was louder so it drowns out the outside airplane sounds. The bed was comfy, we had a smoke free room and overall room was tidy and clean. We paid for the breakfast and there was a wide range of selection so we had a blast trying out...

"I couldn't get any hot water to run when I tried to take a shower. Housekeeping had to come up to sort it out. It took running the water in the sink for quite a few minutes to get the hot water primed. "

The free washing machine is very convenient and the hotel also provides free detergent. There’s no dryer but my clothes could dry out overnight when hanging in my room because it’s warm. The place is within walking distance to US embassy and there are 2 subway stations nearby. When checking out I left my headset in the room but the staff are very kind and helped...

"Location is good. Not sure where it stated check in at 10am but when I arrived almost 2pm. There was no room available. Otherwise is a good experience for our stays with Base Hotel. Pretty convenient as hotel is in the middle of two train stations. Highly recommended."
