"The staff were wonderful. They couldn't do enough for us, and were so pleasant, polite and helpful - especially the breakfast staff. Breakfast itself was amazing! Thank you for a very comfortable two night stay!"

"The strength of this hotel is the lovely staff, from the reception to the breakfast staff they were all friendly, helpful and professional. Our rooms were also clean and breakfast well cooked. "

We arrived at breakfast around 9.30 - the eggs were like rubber, sausages the cheapest you can buy, bacon like rubber, instant coffee only. The toast was the highlight, which speaks volumes. "Absolutely lovely place. Rooms were great.Beautiful surroundings.Only down side was that we arrived at 1pm, check in was 3pm.Had planned to go to The White Hart Inn, for lunch and drinks,only to arrive there and be told, due to winter staffing, they were not opening until 5pm. I suggested that maybe having a sign on the road advertising that they were open from 8am, should be removed/ amended."
