"This is a big hotel in Okuhida onsengo area, having amasing baths (onsen). We came for both the springs and the winter illumination experience and we had both. Loved it. The outdoor baths (shared) are great. We also tried hida meet as well as local hotel specialities, like turtle soup and caviar, highly recommended. I would love to come back one day."

"Its proximity to the ropeway was the biggest catch. They have a true onsen but sadly people are naked and don’t wear clothing and modesty is not followed . "We picked this hotel to stay at while visiting Matsumoto because it was budget friendly and we were headed farther south to our next stop and I think it was a good pick except that the closest train was nearly a mile walk.
