"Our first stay at a Hampton by Hilton but we were impressed with the staff ( both the reception and breakfast staff were lovely without a single exception) and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I am normally too hot under a hotel duvet but both the bed and the duvet were very pleasant so obviously well thought out. Will definitely be seeking them out in other locations in the future as much cheaper than Airbnb now and rooms serviced every day! Excellent value for money."

"location was perfect for the event we were going to and had lots to offer in terms of supermarkets and restaurants. also the coffee from the bar in reception is really nice. hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful if needed. so much space in the room. bathroom was great. the only thing was the temperature control in the main room wouldn't go up so was slightly chilly."

"We had a family suite which was nice for 4 adults. The proximity to transportation was excellent. The train is just a 5 min walk. And there is a grocery store very close by. I would recommend this hotel but the only downside was the bed and pillows are not comfortable at all. "

"heb afgesproken met vrienden voor eten en drinken in Alkmaar en woon zelf ver weg. Dus 1 nacht verbleven. Dat is prima gegaan. Leuk is dat je nog duidelijk sporen ziet van de vorige bestemming van het gebouw. (Gevangenis) Alkmaar is trouwens ook wel een mooie stad om te bezoeken met traditionele panden en grachtjes."
