"When we arrived we were given room 12 but upon opening the door it was filled with builders rubbish. We then waited for a while and the manger came to see us saying he only had 1 other room but it has no hot water. He said we could use the spa for free and was very helpful and kind. He said he will re fund half our money back which I’m not sure how this happens as I still havent had this. If I get my money back I would definitely come again and we did have a really nice time "

Shame I was put in an accessible room as the washbasin was ridiculously small & in truth would be totally impractical for anyone in a wheelchair as they wouldn't be able to get their knees under the sink & it would be impossible to even brush their teeth !! The T V was in an absurd position high on the wall directly to the left when lying in bed ,so one would have to twists in the most absurd position to watch TV. Im very fortunate not to be disabled so moved the bed so I...

"We were treated for a 1 night stay as a gift so we decided to add on 1 more night good decision the staff are so helpful friendly and cant do enough for you nothing is too much bother the food is homecooked well presented and delicious the woolly sheep is a quirky old building with lots of character a fabulous covered outdoor area which will be amazing in the better weather as the roof goes back to make it an open top area, the rooms are tastefully decorated in a lovely modern style and colours...

"I was not impressed being ‘ejected’ , as a resident at the hotel, at 11pm on a Saturday night. As a hotel resident, every where else I have stayed I could get a drink. On this occasion there were probably 15 hotel guests in the bar but we were all evicted. I will not be staying there again."
