"Our experience at Santa Luiza was excellent. Accommodations were very nice and location fantastic in the Alfama area of Lisbon. The best part was the great service from the staff including Maria who helped us on several occasions including booking out transfer to Oriente station for our train trip. There were some negative reviews we saw before booking but those ignored the fact that you are in a historic building, the rooms are smaller and you are there for the experience."

"The property is clean and cozy. Public transportation is nearby. Grocery stores is few meters away. It's very convenient and quiet community. Only thing not perfect is the electric system - it was shut down few times every night when I was stay. "

"The apartament is beautiful and very well located The downside was the zillions steps to get there, a very steep staricase with luggage is not a good idea. There is no TV (in 2023, really?) and no AC. There was a fan we could use to keep the apartament fresh at nights. The fridge was not very clean, but the rest was OK "

"Apartment is as shown in pictures. Great views of Tagus River & Vasco de Gama bridge. Nice little balcony with street view. Apartment is well stocked with cooking appliances, utensils, dishes. It is about 3/4 of way down the hill from local square, Largo de Graca, where there are several small shops for groceries & a great butcher shop. Bring your own shopping bags. Also, a wonderful restaurant, Sant Avo. There's a small elevator which is needed as apartment is on 4 th floor. Trams & buses stop...
