"I stayed at 3 different rentals in the Alfama area, and this was my favorite. Very small, as all the old buildings are, but so smartly designed. I had room in the living room to set up my laptop, read and relax. The bed is in a loft accessible by a ladder, so this isn't for everyone. "The apartament is beautiful and very well located The downside was the zillions steps to get there, a very steep staricase with luggage is not a good idea.
