The location of this hotel is great for the seafront and promenade and the gardens are lovely. The hotel is a little tired and smacks of past grandeur but for the price you can’t complain. "Restaurant service, quality and quantity very good, but had issue with the Hotel's 3 course dinner offer. Obviously the Chef was not in agreement with the offer and it took ages to serve, otherwise the food was lovely. Room very comfortable, but if you are disabled in any way, there is no lift."

"This one nights visit was excellent. Greeted by a friendly lady, handed my key with detailed instructions which was very helpful. I had a delightful room, very clean with all you need for a comfortable night's stay. Lovely comfy bed, Plenty of hot water. Good room temperature. A nice tray of tea/coffee/biscuits. Breakfast was what I wanted. Very obliging staff. All good."
