"Once inside hotel all was good. Outside on arrival there was a person relieving himself in the alley to the left of the hotel. The doors did not open I entered after someone else left and there was no one on reception - did not have to wait long though"

"While this doesn't have the 'historical' appeal of some other hotels in the area, it is clean, bright, spacious, with amenities that make the stay easy and enjoyable (e.g., air conditioning, front desk, restaurant). It is also right in the middle of Newmarket, so convenient to everything. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very good value for the price."

"Recently refurbished Pub with separate outhouses that have been converted into rooms. The rooms were in excellent condition. The fod in the pub both evening and breakfast were delicious. There is a nice outside play area for children which got heavy use."

"We got a good welcome at this Hotel. Parking was available. Our room was clean and had all we needed. Continental breakfast had a variety of food and was Help Yourself and easy. The staff checked we had everything we needed for our 2nd night. We would go again"
