"We were quite comfortable staying here! It’s a truck stop, so there was laundry by credit card in the courtyard. There’s a McDonald’s, Costa coffee, and other shops right there! The hotel offered a discount card for purchase that can be used for dining at any of the options there. Staff was super friendly, and even delivered my Dominoes pizza to our room!"

"So convenient, located right by customs at south terminal. My international flight was several hours delayed, and I was due to catch the train up to Nottingham. Due to landing late at night, I was able to check in at the hotel, enjoyed a good night sleep, showered and 5 minutes to the train station. I was traveling by myself, so appreciated the location and safety. Be prepared, it’s a small cubby type room. But comfortable. I would use it again."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The service was impeccable — everything was very clean and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The only minor downside was that our room was located on the first floor, close to the lounge and kitchen area, which made the mornings a bit noisy. Had we known, we might have chosen a room on the second floor for more quiet. Otherwise, everything was excellent, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone around Gatwick airport etc. "

The Church dates from 1060 with a 12th/13th C. nave, and north aisle from 1250 - south aisle is 14th C. The chancel is 12/13th C. and may have had an apse, sedilia and piscina on south side of sanctuary are 13th C. The tower was added in the 15th C. The original timber framed spire was destroyed in the Great Storm of 1987 and was replaced with a steel framed version with chestnut shingles at 165 feet. The font is Norman and was lost for years until found nearby being used as a cattle trough! St Denys' church is well known for its wall paintings which date from 13th C. onwards. They were covered over and only discovered in 1893. There is an impressive 15th C. doom painting with Christ seated on a rainbow with the virgin Mary and St John. The Neville chapel is in the north east corner of the church, named after the Neville branch of the Abergavenny family who were Lords of the Manor from 1450. The church is a Grade I listed building.
