"Perfectly nice clean room before or after a long flight. I arrived shattered, past midnight and collapsed into the bed and slept soundly. You'd never know you were at an airport. Small room but is everything you need for a short stay/stopover. Loved the key drop by lifts so you can just go on your way and less dragging your luggage about. "

"My stay at the Hickshead hotel has been excellent in many respects, especially the helpfulness of the staff and their proactive attitudes. Unfortunately if you have a room facing the carpark not only do you get woken up at silly o'clock by patrons chatting in the carpark but also by the smell of cigarette smoke coming in through the window. Yes I did have to get up and close the window. The Hotel is very convenient, the food is good and as I say the Staff make this place somewhere I will return. "

"If you want a place for quiet, have a light meal and a good nights sleep, then this is it. But if you want space to spread out or to do some work, not so good. It’s an ideal stop prior to an early morning flight."
