My family and I (3 total) stayed a few days here in August and it was wonderful! there were a few things to keep in mind when booking here however. "A nice clean place, friendly staff and easy to get to from the train. Only issue was stairs, we had the top 3rd floor great for view but the lift is mainly for luggage so if stairs are a problem reconsider others-wise a very decent option and would stay again."

"A good place to stay for a couple of nights. It’s beautifully refurbished and v clean. Breakfast is nice too. It’s quite a walk into town or the train station, 30 mins or so, but there’s a a v good pizza place just down the road. We arrived mid afternoon which does not fit in with the hotels checking in hours, but after a phone call we were able to get in, much appreciated after a very long drive. "

"Near to the train station, if anyone wants to spend a night or two at La Spezia on a budget this place is hard to beat. Clean and neat, staff is only on property up to 2:00 pm, so if you arrive later than that you must follow the instructions they will send to your Whatsapp. I did, not a big deal, everything was straightforward. "We stayed here for one night while we visited Cinque Terre. So convenient, less than a 2 minute walk to the train station. The small breakfast we got was very tasty and the service at checkin/checkout and breakfast was great. There are only two parking stalls at the hotel so arrive early if you have a car, otherwise you have to find a spot on the street. The only “negative” thing we experience was the bed was very very uncomfortable. "
