"It's a colourful hotel, situated by the river, only about a 10 minutes walk from the city center. We had a generally pleasant stay, we were even able to watch the Euro 24 final on the rooftop bar. We stayed in room 135 on the ground floor with a view towards a back street so not memorable. The room was clean and spatious. The only problem was that the A/C wasn't strong enough, even on the lowest setting the room never got properly cool which made it hard to sleep at times. Also a mini fridge...

"Happy with location, lost of places all around for food and drinks, tram stop close by so easy to get around, or only 24 minute walk from train station. Room has everything you need. We didnt have a view as looked out on a stairwell but this was a short sightseeing trip so view not needed as only in room to sleep."

"If you crave perfection...this is not your hotel. This is an older hotel in a spectacular location!! We rented a family suite. It had two bedrooms and a living room and slept 4 adults VERY comfortably. It is not a luxury hotel but it was clean and every request me made was met with cheerful compliance. My only complaint is that the shower is very small...think cruise ship small. It is a 1k walk to the train station to Cologne. "

"The staff at the rec option desk was very welcoming and friendly. The room was an ok size for a single occupancy. Typical twinbed style as it is common in Europe. Clean room. "Was booked for 4 nights. Resturaunt shut mon open tues and wed. Shut thurs no reason given. Thin quilt in room. Curtains did not fit and i was on street level so in dark people could look in from street. Room not cleaned bin emptied or towels changed during entire stay. Was not cheap to stay there either. I am well traveled and stay away 4 nights a week with work and this was not good."

"It seems to be family-owned. The staff is fantastic, very cordial and friendly. They provided ear plugs, I’m assuming because of the train and bus station across the street but at night time it wasn’t too bad. Just an occasional train once in a while. We were parking on a weekend so we had plenty of street parking options since the meters aren’t in effect on Sunday and there seemed to be a garage not too far away. Good distance from Cologne and Bonn. Breakfast was delicious. "
