"Everything was v clean. We stayed in the Wotter Room on the second floor. Yes it could all do with a bit of a paint in patches but the room is charming and huge. The view was amazing - we could see the fireworks in Plymouth the first night that we stayed. Had a fab Nepalese curry on Wednesday followed by an Indian pudding which was delicious. Steak on the second night. The hotel is on the edge of Dartmoor but close enough to the local tourist attractions. We will definitely return. "

"The apartment is a home from home and has everything you’d need! We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! Comfortable beds, great location although did get a little noisy at times! "

It was very quiet during our stay— I’m not sure how many others were also staying when we were there, but if there were people around we didn’t know! Loved the city of Plymouth, we were a short walk from some of the main hubs of town, and felt the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. "It was freezing cold had my meal with hat and coat on. Ask the members of staff to get tv working And was still not working when I left. "

"This is not a hotel. its more of a doss house. Paid for 2 nights. went to the moxy instead which is just another level compared to this. Yes its cheap, but the whole area feels unsafe, and you wouldnt want to leave your car here."

"Rooms are lovely within spacious peaceful grounds and was given an upgrade as hotel wasn't full. Check in is at the restaurant, which staff should remember is doing double duty as hotel check in. Breakfast was mediocre and burnt toast was served - shouldn't even have left the kitchen. Subsequently skipped the included breakfast for Elvira's which was much better. Had issues trying to store luggage in COVID times with one staff member happy to accept on early arrival, but another refusing on...

"Parking is a huge problem for those with cars i.e. tourists who don't use public transportation. Very limited, very expensive, and not close."
