"Stayed to see family. Central for both"

"Hotel was well decorated in the main areas - looking fairly newly redone. The service was good. The only issue is the quality of the breakfast buffet is terrible - i mean really terrible. We arrived at breakfast around 9.30 - the eggs were like rubber, sausages the cheapest you can buy, bacon like rubber, instant coffee only. The toast was the highlight, which speaks volumes. Otherwise a great stay."

"Convenient for central Plymouth. Exterior looks grimy and needs freshening up. Interior appeared in good, if somewhat bland, condition. Lack of onsite parking is of concern. Staff were very helpful. Overall reasonable value for money. Adequate if somewhat unremarkable place to stay. "

"Pretty average 3star with friendly staff Some of the carpets in the rooms need a little care but the bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels The rooms are a good size "

"Great service from staff and great facilities. We especially enjoyed the spa and our very comfortable stable room on the upper floor of the hotel with lovely courtyard view. It was my birthday treat and Borringdon even had a card and miniature bottle of gin as a welcome gesture, which was much appreciated."

"Great stay as always, the shower heat control though is broken (room 303) and I forgot to say when I checked out, the cover on the control is loose and falls off so you have no way to tell hot/cold"
