"We had a pleasant stay, it is walkable to a lovely beach. The bathrooms could do with a little updating but the shower was nice. Staff we're friendly. Biggest disadvantage was the fact you had to spend 300 thai bhat one way to get into khao lak its definitely not walkable. On the plus side it was lovely quiet resort with nice food."

"My family and I was at this property 5 years ago and we love it so much so we decided to comeback. However, this property was in such poor conditions, so much that we decided to move to the new resort. Very dirty, stain on the sheet, AC was not cold, no food on the property. On Expedia website about this property was listed that they have all the amenities but for surcharges which we Plato use. They don’t have food, transportation, spa or anything that is listed. "Boutique hotel, overflowing with charm, clean, quiet, friendly staff, very accommodating, wonderful breakfast, fabulous barista style coffees, lovely pool!! Had a incredible Michelin star dinner made by the owner very tasteful and clean. This hotel is a Gem!! We didn’t just stay here, we made lovely memories here and will definitely return!! "

"We enjoyed how quiet the property was. We experienced a couple of issues with A/C and hot water but someone came to fix right away. Very respectful people. So glad we took pictures of the scooter we rented as the “company” they rented from wanted to charge us for damage that was already done!"

"The pool was the best part of this property along with its proximity to the beach……. The room decor was tired but it was kept clean and tidy. Breakfast was limited but tasty but no other meals/ bar was offered. However khao lak is full of great cafes bars and restaurants. "

"The property offered a clean and safe place to sleep. It is indeed very simple. My room had a pot for steaming water, but no in room coffee or tea. The price was very reasonable, and reflected the no frill option. For me, Id be willing to up the budget next time for more on site ammenities. The Simple represents good value for a no frills stay."
