"The Pousada Brasil is a 6-7 minute walk to the main town square, and the owner/manager is very friendly and helpful. As with many pousadas, the hotel is a very traditional building with a little balcony, nice windows with shutters. The room was very spacious, with a walk-in closet, and views towards the street outside and historic centre, which I liked. "

"Very stylish accommodation close to everything, very convenient and safe parking. You’re transported back in history with modern conveniences and beautiful view of the town. Staff speaks English which is be big reprieve from translator on cell phones. Breakfast is awesome and everything is organic, I haven’t eaten eggs with yellow orange yolks since I was a child! "This is an "adult property", not a proper place to stay unless one is looking for a discrete place to have sex. I feel I was bamboozled into making this reservation and I doubt I will ever see my money back. For the record, it is a very long distance from the center of Ouro Preto. "

"Atendimento muito agradável de todos! Quartos confortáveis e perto do centro. Café da manhã gostoso. Quarto que fiquei (com varanda)não tem central de ar apenas ventilador que foi suficiente. Somente o barulho dos carros e motos que começa cedo, para quem tem problema com isso, pois a pousada fica em uma rua asfaltada movimentada. Eu nao tive problema, porém outra pessoa pode ter."

"Pousada do arcanjo is a gem! This beautiful colonial hotel is conveniently located near the historic section of Ouro Preto. The staff wear period costumes which is such a fun touch. They are super friendly and helpful. The cuisine in Minas Gerais is said to be the best in Brazil and the hotel’s full Brazilian breakfast (café colonial) is a shining example. There’s a lovely afternoon tea as well! My room was very comfortable. I can’t wait to visit again! "

"Looks nice property , but very noise at night time . We stay #29. Extremely small . Basic breakfast , the best was the cheese Bread . The towels is very old . White ? No . They are almost grey and very bad quality . The employees are wonderful . Our sink was constantly dripping water and floor was wet the most the time . Very nice way to save some water . They have a bucket inside the shower and we can leave the first water from the shower in and they use to clean inside de room . We didn’t...
