"The hotel was such good value. 24hr reception was great as we had been delayed so didn't arrive until 1am. The breakfast offering is huge, there's something for everyone. The rooms are a little tired, but the beds are incredibly comfortable. There are no kettles in the room but there's a coffee machine in the foyer (charged), and you can purchase cup noodles from reception and they will provide hot water."

"The property was clean and comfortable. I was quiet supprised at the facilities available for use in the lower communal area ie washing machine, dryer, microwave, table tennis. Filter coffee and waterwas available for guests free of charge, tgere was also a selection of sandwiches for purchase with a fruit bowl. The staff were helpful and very friendly. "

"Lovely, clean, comfortable hotel centrally located in Oslo. Would definitely recommend staying if you're here for a break. Staff are fantastic and I want to make special mention of Ramzes who helped me out when I checked in. I was having issues with my phone and needed to book rail tickets to Sweden but Ramzes was amazing and helped me get these booked. These tickets had to be booked there and then from my perspective and he simply translated for me and took me through the whole process. Excellent customer service and it helped me out immensely. Not only this but three days later, not only did Ramzes recognise me when I came back, but also remembered my name! That is a sign of someone who is excellent at their job and his welcoming nature makes you feel at home. Thank you Ramzes, you really made my stay at Scandec Karl Johan very enjoyable"
