"We spent one night here whilst touring around Switzerland. It’s a lovely hotel on the side of a hill overlooking Lake Walensee. Hotel is in good order. As with virtually all hotels in Switzerland, there is no air conditioning so it is recommended to take a mini fan with you if visiting in the middle of summer. "

"Great hotel, rooms were immaculate; clean really well furnished new, fabulous showers, comfortable beds, really good coffee machine in rooms, and great breakfast. Things to note: Checking was easy at a self checkin machine we only saw one member of staff at breakfast. This was not a problem for us. "This was such a lovely hotel! I felt like I was in a Disney movie. Beautiful hotel and surrounding area. Cobbled stone streets, charming clock tower and old buildings everywhere. Near lake Zurich. Absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately being in a small town, my partner faced some discrimination. I am white and “looked” Swiss and had no problems, he is Persian and got many stares and was not treated respectfully by all in this small community."

"This is a family owned business - very friendly & helpful, located in an area east of Zurich right across from the train station. There are not many facilities around this hotel especially restaurants but the woman that checked us in recommended we take a 20 minute train ride to the small town of Raperswil-Joan which has 1/2 dozen lakefront restaurants. We had a fabulous meal there. "
