"The hotel is close to the train station which is a plus for travelers using the train, but the area is a little "scruffy". At no time did we feel unsafe, its just that the neighborhood is a little unkempt. However, the Ibis was clean and appeared to be well-run. Our room was quiet and clean and the breakfast was extensive. For overall experience and convenience to the train station, I'll give it a 7.5 out of ten. "

Place Rouppe a bit of a dump imho but seemingly safe enough and some might regard it as ‘trendy’. "Great experience. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is in the middle down downtown, so you could walk to anywhere, plus the metro line was 2 minutes away. The room was also very clean, nicely decorated, had a safe, fridge, complimentary cofee, and water with free refills from the restaurant downstairs."
