When I got to my room, it was nothing like what was shown in the picture. It also smelled heavily of chemicals when I entered the room. I won't be coming back here."

There is also a bus terminal at the train station with buses to various attractions like Zao onsen etc. Only down part is the pillow was very flat, hence not comfortable to sleep on."

"We stayed here for a week while visiting our daughter who lived nearby. The staff were friendly, and polite. No problem with communication even though I do not speak Japanese. I really enjoyed their breakfast buffet. The view of the mountains from the room can't be beat. I agree with one review that said the toilet in the reception is the best toilet I have been to in Japan, as crazy as that may sound. Highly recommend!"
