"For the price the cottage in the village was a great deal. Lots of space, an ocean view, quiet, private. The hotel is a typical “Bubble era” construction, but the location was great. The staff were helpful and had local knowledge. The package included breakfast, which was good as there were no other local options. The breakfast was OK. "My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. We will definitely be coming back to stay again! "

"Beautiful location with its own beach right out the door. The owner was very kind and spoke excellent English. He helped me sign up for excursions and I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinners with a view of the beach. Amazing part of the island and highly recommended "

"Spacious rooms, well equipped, though the rest of the hotel is bereft of any amenities, but never mind. We learned to appreciate the place. A bit remote for those without a car, but we managed to enjoy with the help of the bus timetable. Very friendly small team of staff who try their best to make up for shortcomings of the place. Breakfast was charged as an extra, but it was nice and worth it. As said, the room is vast and comfy and there's a little pantry in it, but we wish the little backyard...

"La Teada is a beautiful resort, our room had clearly been remodeled not so long ago and was quite clean comfortable. The staff were also friendly and helpful. The resort grounds were also very natural and beautiful. The bath house was also wonderful. On the negative side, I was sad we couldn't see more of the ocean from our room.
