Its a little secluded hotel with 10 rooms tucked in the hills of Ishigaki. The staff were great and check in was easy. The animals on site were cute, but the parrot's day cage is too small. The room was huge and had great amenities if you wanted to cook a small meal. The balcony was large and had a view of the ocean. We'll definitely stay here again.

Reika was an amazing host. The hotel is adorable and includes ducks, bunnies and birds.. It’s a walk down the block to a beach situated on a beautiful resort with access to some of the amenities.

The property and owner are really great. Unfortunately there was some smell of mold in all the rooms I’ve seen so I couldn’t stay there. For less sensitive people it should be okay. It is truly a gorgeous property in a really nice area. They use some strong cleaners to destroy the mold, I can’t tell if it was the cleaners or the mold that bothered me most. Since I have asthma neither one was an option for me.

Good value for money in decent location. Just 7mins walk to Fusaki Beach Resort where we would access the beach and pool. The owner is very funny and attentive. Property is well kept, clean and green. They offer free rental of floaties & snorkels. The rooms are spacious by Japanese standard. Room has an efficient layout. Bathroom is separated from living area. Living area has a kitchen and big balcony. All at a very reasonable price. Toiletries offered are of good quality. Breakfast is served in an elegant basket. Nice balance of vegetables, carbo and protein. We highly recommend this property and will return to this property ourselves if we return to Ishigaki. ❤️

Wonderful stay!
Stayed at Little Mermaid Hotel for 4 nights in October 19 and I cannot begin to explain how wonderful our stay was. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great and nicely packed, great for when we had to head out early most mornings. Most importantly, the team there were extremely accomodating and helped us with tour suggestions and dinner reservations, always checking in on how we were and if there was anything else they could do. Thank you and we will be back!
