"It's a lovely hotel with excellent grounds to walk the dogs in. Although it could do with a paint touch up in places and some TLC The room we had was clean and the bed was comfy. The service was good however they appeared to be short staffed. The young waitress in the dining room serving evening meal works really hard, and she's a credit to the hotel. The food at both breakfast and in the evening was really nice. We would return to this hotel again if staying over in Keswick."

The room was compact but unless you were planning to spend a whole day in the room, it was perfect for sleeping and getting ready for the day. "It’s a good hotel location to get to Lake District, free large car park. Friendly greeting at reception on check-in. Should also mention handy EV charger (fast charger) for EV cars (which I used) just off main road. So not only can you recharge your battery but also the cars. "
