"This is, in the whole, a lovely property which gives excellent value for money. All staff are friendly, enthusiastic and kind. It is within walking distance of the center of Malacca, has several eating options on site as well as convenience stores and a restaurant very close by. The only thing to be aware of is that the room (especially the bathroom) is a bit tired and the bathroom was not wiped over daily as part of room servicing. "Lovely place to stay, we really enjoyed our one night stay there. The projector screen TV was a plus and the front desk staff Marcus Abraham Thomas was great . "I overnight in this (ELMARK HOTEL MELAKA) for 2 nights. The second night was a nightmare to me. I'm so disappointed due to the electrical door lock spoilt, and i can't acess it. I have to wait more than 12 hours and there is no proper arrangements for me (my belongings are inside my room). The hotel staff told me about the master key with the hotel owner, and he is in another state now. I called the hotel owner, he didn't fix the issue on the spot..He asked me to wait him for another day to open...

"pool are not open, so paying for room with room+pool charge are expensive. Trying to call before booking but not pick up. very dissappointed because the main objective are to bring the kids to the "hotel" and playing pools."

"This is our favourite hotel in Muar we always stay here . On the plus side the room is very spacious with average decor . However the air con is either off or freezing and sounds like a jet engine . The toilet is continually blocked . Having said staff is very nice and friendly "

"Family premium room had no windows but my kids love it. Love the aesthetics of the hotel. Very quaint and unique! Rooftop is a nice place to sit and talk with family.our room had a loft with single bed however spotted several mosquitoes. The steps to the loft in our room needs some repair as some of the wood chips are coming off and can be quite dangerous. "
