"The room I was in was clean and the bathroom and kitchenette looked like they have been renovated. However, there were some shortcomings: there is no towel rail in the bathroom and the toilet is not only orientated 90 degrees the wrong way it's too close to the shower screen. So close in fact there is a warning sticker on the shower screen to warn you to not bump your head. "Laurie the owner was lovely. I phoned ahead to advise we were running late & it wasn’t a problem. On arrival we chatted with Laurie for about 1/2 hr - great communication and quite a lot in common with us. Lots of plans to change how the venue and how it is used. On approach the accommodation looks in need of tlc but it’s happening. Our room was very comfortable and had all we needed for a nights stay."
