"Just next to JR station, few minutes walk to morning market. Location is perfect. Some of the rooms face the train station, very good view especially in snow. Public bath is good for relaxing. Room is in decent size."

We became accustomed to the room which we used primarily to sleep and dress.We spent most of our time exploring the town outside. We enjoyed walking through the morning market nearby and choosing the different places to eat at. Everything tasted wonderful. We took advantage of the hotel’s onsen, lounge and coffee dispenser machine. We enjoyed our stay at the Tokyo Stay Hakodate! "

"There wasn’t elevator for this property, but staff helped us carry our luggage to our rooms. The rooms are very large for Japanese standards, as at least one wing was repurposed from an old bank branch. "

"I was so pleasantly surprised by what was offered. I booked an overnight stay on my way to Sapporo. I had no experience with this chain and expected an average service/facility. For one night, I didn't mind. However, the staff were organised and welcoming. Unlike similar hotel chains, they had four lifts to take guests up and down. Everywhere was super clean. More importantly, the room was spacious and very comfortable. All facilities were new, and every item in the room was organised logically to make it easy to use. Overall, a very positive experience."
