The hotel is very convenient for transport options and sightseeing - 3 mins walk from Termini and 15-20 mins to Trevi Fountain or Colosseum. Area felt safe and many restaurants nearby. Breakfast was adequate - not many hot food options other than sausages, scrambled and boiled eggs. But many pastries, cakes etc The only negative of this hotel is the lack of coffee/tea sachets in the room...

"I liked this hotel for the convenience of having termini a block or two away, I had heard termini was a sketchy area and honestly it’s not and I was a female solo traveler so in terms of security it’s a good hotel, the staff was always friendly and helpful, the breakfast is simple but great to have something for the day I did see some coworkers in the dining area fight which made the environment a bit awkward but not my business, some dishes were dirty with dry old food when they were supposed...

"Rooms were hot, beds were 3 small separate twin beds for a family of 3. Paid 12 euros to have some shorts ironed, which was actually better than what other places offered. No waters in room have to pay 5 euros for waters in mini fridge. Staff unfriendly, breakfast is continental to say the most, better off just buying own elsewhere. When asking staff questions eye rolls and huffing and puffing were very common. We bought some wine and wanted to use the garden common area to sip and enjoy...

"We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Sonya hotel, I would say it was a good choice for us as a family. The hotel room was a little small and a little rough around the edges but it catered for our needs, the bed and pillows was comfortable for us, the shower was hot and the location was really good. Had good food choices around our area and is walkable to most areas in Rome, if not there are public transport near by.
