Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. "A lovely hotel, nice big room with comfy bed. This is definitely not a dog friendly hotel, we had hoped to have a drink in the bar after the stressful weekend we'd had but no. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant which I fully understand but they are not allowed in any area in the bar. So basically you walk through reception and go straight to the room with your dog. This is not dog friendly at all and you even have to pay £15 a night for this. Honestly if you have a dog don't bother going...

"Second or third stay at the Keep, previously in the tower suite, now a flying stop so a "basic" downstairs room. Despite being street facing at ground level it's absolutely quiet. I live on a busy main road & this room was so much quieter than home. Palatial room with perfectly comfortable bed, large shower, microwave, fridge, etc. No staff on site most of the time which always makes me a little nervous, but I've never needed them, & the price reflects it. If I want 24hr staffing I'm welcome...
