"This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it never disappoints. I attended an event this time and everything was perfect. From the atmosphere to the food all amazing. Staff were lovely, shout out the Rebekah who organised the event, she was amazing. The hotel room is spacious and has everything you need. The bed is so comfortable and makes it hard to leave. Will definitely stay again. "

"We stayed 2 nights while attending a family wedding. The hotel is old but very clean. It could do with an update in some areas especially the showers in the rooms. That said we had a warm comfortable stay and would stay again. The breakfast was fine could have been hotter but plenty choice. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff were great and attended to any request promptly. Another plus is that there is plenty parking and a lift if you find stairs difficult. "

"Clean and tidy. Heating was playing up but we had extra heaters in our room and were perfectly cosy. The bathroom had a couple of minor faults and we had particularly loud neighbours but all in all pleasant experience. Food good and service excellent.. "

"Lovely stay, with unexpected extras, like the sloe gin sample in the room, coffee machine & kettle, pillow mist & lovely toiletries - some really lovely touches - room styling was very bespoke, with quality décor, styling & was very well presented. Service levels do need improvement however, with the need for additional hospitality staff training & attentiveness, whilst not forgetting previous table service requests - the restaurant was only 1/3 full, but the staff looked very overrun.
