"For a 2 star hotel, one did not expect much. However this place really needs a revamp or upgrade of the their carpets in the rooms. A good paint job will be most welcome. There were no hangers, not a single one, in the wardrobes. Our room was on the second floor - rats / mice were constantly running and making noise in the ceiling, we could not sleep at all. We booked and paid for 3 nights (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) but we just could not cope with the tats / mice noise, staying only for 2...

"It’s a very well kept property which is next to main road. Host Rochelle and her husband is very welcoming and kind. We, a pack of 5 people went there to Braai, party and have a fun night and we really had a great time. Breakfast was okay. A special mention to the bread that is very well made. "What a gem. We had a quiet mid-week stay. But it’s a small space so I would think even weekends shouldn’t feel too busy. Food and service were outstanding. Some short hikes available on the property as well. "

"Woodlands Gardens is located near Magaliesberg. The accomodation was clean and well looked after. The common areas i.e. the pool was very nice. The owners have very friendly dogs and our dogs were welcomed and enjoyed it very much. Locates close to many hiking areas and restaurants. The owners are friendly and have good communication with guests. A little on the priciers side for what you are getting but still a great weekend away."

"The Rabbit Hole is a funky, niche hotel near the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. In the area you either get "lodges" or small chain motels. I love the place and stay there frequently when on expeditions. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean."

"The lodge was very clean and tidy. The owner and security made me feel very welcome and safe and nothing was to much to ask. The property has a hike up the ridge behind for great views. You could if you wanted to hike to mountain sanctuary its about 2 hours there and another 2 hours back. It was well located just off a main road. Giraffe, Zebra all came onto property to feed on the land which was quite exciting."

"Electricity issues as they use solar. Power switched off at 10pm only for the first night. Second night all was good."
