The kitchen was great too with a central range. We went kayaking and biking and the staff were super accommodating. I felt safe there, just keep in mind it is in the middle of placencia so if you don’t want to immerse yourself in the culture and the people of the strip go to a remote resort. I loved this...

My only complaint had nothing to do with the resort. The beaches are not clean. It was heartbreaking for me to walk each morning and see the amount of trash mostly plastic on all of the surrounding beaches. Maybe the resort could offer some type of incentive.
