My partner was ill during the stay and they arranged a visit for us to the local medical centre for treatment, escorting us to the building, which was above and beyond in our eyes - great service! Because of the illness, we didn't venture too far from the hotel grounds, but the restaurant and hammocks by the river was a great place to hang out. The food is really nice, especially the homemade chicken soup and the free breakfast. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again."

"I stayed in two different rooms two nights in a row. This review is for the first night in the bungalow rooms. Overall an excellent and relaxing stay with top notch service. The good: The staff is excellent. My dinner was delicious. I got a massage that was so relaxing and just what I needed. The pool is inviting. The room had a balcony at the back overlooking a stream that was super relaxing. It was so quiet and I slept like a baby. The bad: The room had a slight moldy smell but to be expected given the humidity. They offer a welcome drink that took forever to get, but these are minor and overall no complaints. Based on my experience, I booked another night but could only get the family room. That was a very different experience. I would not recommend the family rooms. I will review that one separately. "
