"Just an absolute little hidden gem !!!! Staff was unbelievably awesome and attentive ........... the scenery and grounds were impeccable !!! I can never say enough about this property !! "

"Absolutely beautiful and lush grounds and surroundings! Being woke every day by hundred of hummingbirds was an experience! I had the biggest cottage in the hotel, very peaceful and private, with a wraparound balcony . Large room, free coffee, nice towels. Very quiet at night . The views were out of this world. The property offers free breakfast to order, and also lunch and dinner ( $) , plus free potable water. Those are important, as to go to Minca is s about $23 each way by jeep. The ground are beautiful and they have about 18 colourful and friendly macaws roaming around , plus a few other saved animals on site. MARINKA Waterfall is just 8 min down the hill (20,000 COP to get in , has a restaurant and nice suspended nets to enjoy the view of the waterfall. Water is cold, so bring a towel and a jersey with you. Recommendations: sheets need to be ironed. Need one dresser in room # 5. Staff needs to pay more attention to cleaning( especially the shower and the floors). Excellent customer service from Saidi, Jaime and John. To get here you need to get a moto or a jeep from Minca. I took the jeep ( 100,000 COP). When you leave, take your time. The jeep that the hotel requested for me was 50 minutes late. Wifi was also down. Also , order your UBER in Minca when you leave, so you can pay with a credit card. There are plenty waiting for you when you get off the jeep . The hotel will offer to reserve one, but is not cheaper than Uber and you need to have COP to pay. "

"Our stay at Villa Maria Tayrona was absolutely perfect. We had the deluxe double room that had a stunning all around sea and jungle view. The food was great, the staff was incredibly accommodating and so very friendly. The beach is at a 7min walk on a beautifully adorned and paved walkway. If you are looking for a quiet place in the middle of nature with a jungle feel but close to the sea I definitely recommend this place. We came during the holiday season for our beach wedding our stay made this special week even more magical. We will definitely be back! "

"The grounds are so pretty. Service was great. AC worked just fine. Included breakfast portion are slightly on the small end, but not too small. My only downside is during check-in the receptionist forgot to exclude the Iva tax from the bill. Foreigners are waved the Iva tax if they present their passports. She removed it once I made a comment. This could have been a simple Overlook on the receptionist part, but I've been in Columbia many times and I know that these Gringo fees are typically not added by accident. So just be aware and double check before you pay."

"The property is huge with a restaurant and a pizza resto, bar, yoga, workspace and beach space. The staff are fairly organized but the cleaning staff are awesome and keep everything very clean, outdoor and in you room. The location is not near anything walkable and the walk from reception to the beach is a fairly long walk. Staff do not really introduce you to the property so it’s on your to figure it out yourself. Less of an organized hostel vibe then other Viajeros. You don’t really know who’s the volunteers are at the hostel. I’d go for the beach, get away from people and somewhat the vibes. "
