"The owner was very very generous, friendly and helpful. He treated us as if we were part of his family. You don't get this treatment very often. The location is very close to the entrance El Zaino for the Tayrona Park. The vegetation around the property is fantastic. The only negative side is that the cabins are very close by the road and there is a lot of noise day and night. For the day it might not be a huge problem, but at night if you have poor sleep you might suffer from the noise."

"Friendly and very professional service personnel. Awesome location, beautiful surroundings. Literally a stunning piece of paradise to relax and contemplate. I walked around the area which we enjoyed a lot. I will come back!!"

"This is a beautiful hostel, i thought it was a hotel. I wasn't aware that you had to drive on a rough road up the mountain, i found out 2hrs before we got our car rental. They do provide transportation but we found out last minute. The food at restaurant was really good and the service is great. The beds are hard but not an issue for me."

"Really nice place to stay. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Nice little shared garden and small pool, as well as covered patio in the top floor. We really liked staying here. The hosts were very kind and made tasty breakfast. I got terrible food poisoning from the restaurant next door and our host kindly me made a delicious soup the next day to help me feel better. Lots of highway traffic noise, but with the window closed it’s quiet."

"What a wonderful experience at this ecoresort. Definitely not like any other hotel experience. Good signage from the road so easily visible for our cab driver (one hour from Santa Marta). "I have no idea how this place has any positive reviews. Easily the worst stay after traveling for 5 weeks in Colombia. Pool was empty and just had a bit of dirty water in bottom despite a promise it would be filled, power was off for most of the 3 days we stayed - they have a backup generator which was only turned on when staff wanted to watch TV or cook, this made the room unbearably hot and in darkness. "The villa itself is lovely with mountain views and easily walkable to the Tayrona Park entrance; however, transportation itself is a challenge, even with their recommended, outside drivers. One driver, Felix was ok in bringing us to the villa but did not reply to my texts fro departure transportation. When I notified that someone else was picking us up and that he was no longer needed, he showed up and not the other driver. He canceled the other driver. We still had to take the drive since we didn't want to miss our flight and the other driver had not shown up. Walkable for the gates but difficult to get anywhere else in Tayrona."

A great staying

"My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights, we had a great time in Tyrona National Park. It was great coming back after a long hiking day to a friendly hotel concierge, as well the hostess at the restaurant was kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place."

"Lovely little hotel with a great staff. My partner was ill during the stay and they arranged a visit for us to the local medical centre for treatment, escorting us to the building, which was above and beyond in our eyes - great service! Because of the illness, we didn't venture too far from the hotel grounds, but the restaurant and hammocks by the river was a great place to hang out. The food is really nice, especially the homemade chicken soup and the free breakfast. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again."
