Parts of the hotel seemed like an escape room, because my bedroom was located towards the rear. I was told that I had to take two elevators to get to my room, as it was in the back of the hotel. Part of it was under refurbishment, so I had to take one elevator up, and go to the other side of the hotel (4 minutes walk through two hallways)...

"Great Great Great location. Like honestly, steps away from where you want to be for sights, gondolas, “bus” stops (vaporetto boats), and some great affordable shopping. The building is old, but so is all of Venice. There are tights stairs to get to the 4th floor rooms BUT the pay off is you get a private terrace. Well worth it. When we travel back to Venice, we will stay here. If you prefer luxurious accommodations, don’t travel to old cities. "
