"A wonderful stay. The morning service at the temple was a profound experience. The introduction to zazen was great, though Japanese speakers will get most out of this - ditto the lecture before morning service. The meals were excellent, and everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. All together, this short stay was a true highlight of my month in Japan. "Staff was kind. Plenty of self-service facility including vending machine, microwave oven, etc. Room is quiet even the hotel building is beside railroad tracks. Only problems are very limited parking space and early-closing restaurant."

"The room was fairly large for Japan, and comfortable, I was on the top floor, non smoking comfort floor. And the breakfast was good. Staff was super. "We enjoyed being able to watch the river as we bathed in the open air bath. Plenty of amenities provided, staff was super friendly and helpful, and room was lovely and spacious. Japanese breakfast was huge and delicious and it was wonderful to try some regional specialities."
