"We often stop at this restaurant as the food is excellent. The accommodation is very basic. Clean and comfortable. Having to walk through the master bedroom to use the bathroom in the night is rather awkward. There was LOTS of mold on the bathroom ceiling. "

They even drove us to get food and were such great company. The lodge was brilliant - very African. Zebras came right up to us! the wildlife in Marloth Park is very tame. The lodges are African style so quite dark as designed to be cool. Colin and Carolien had a generator which worked when the power was out which was often. "

"I stayed one night right before going into KNP. From start to finish Bernadette made me feel welcome a d was extremely friendly. I did receive a room upgrade and wow! The room was fantastic. Extremely high ceiling and fantastic backyard view. Though once twilight hits there isn't much sunlight so not much view can be seen. There is a restaurant nearby so you do not have to use the kitchens if you don't cook yourself. Also, ifyou would love to make the host happy please ask her about the lounge...

"My and my family stayed at Kruger Kumba for 2 nights in early Jan , needless to say it was quite hot - 37 degrees . The property over all is good but there were some issues which i would specify : 1) There is only one air conditioner in the lounge which is not sufficient for the rooms on a hot day ( even after keeping all windows and doors closed) 2) The Braai equipment was not cleaned and gave an ick , Requesting the owner to address this kindly 3) There were no basic toiletries provided...
