"I absolutely loved my stay here, the only reason it is not 5 stars is upon walking in and during check in uou are presented with a very long list of rules you need to sign to acknowledge and how much the fines are per infraction. For example you cannot take drinks in however there is not a bar to buy drinks from. Fine for this is 2000 baht. Visitors to the hotel is a 10k baht fine amongst a long list of other things including smoking. Breakfast was a bit lack luster and I struggled as a vegan...

"Starting with the positive, overall the staff were polite especially the bar and breakfast staff. Breakfast was an excellent spread, topped up regularly and staff were efficient and polite. The amenities overall were well maintained although the pool area wasn’t cleaned up well each night, rubbish was left poolside the next morning. "Nice place. The deluxe unit is clean and quite new. Good air con, nice deck overlooking the pool. Beds are usually hard in Thailand / we found these a little harder than normal. 5 min stroll to the beach. And opposite one of the best restaurants we’ve had Curry from in Thailand - Foodie. But all in all, we’d stay again. Good value. "

"We had a great stay here. For the price and location, you can’t do better on Koh Lanta! My only complaint is the beach bar - they have 2 for 1 cocktails (220 thb) and we ordered one. They were so small you could literally pour them together in one cocktail glass and that still didn’t make a Norma size drink. We complained to the staff about it, but they did not care. Last drink we had there! As long as you skip those drinks, it’s a five star property!"

"Perfect for our needs. The apartment was clean, tidy and well situated, so very peaceful. The place was fairly busy but it didn’t feel crowded or loud. Staff were excellent - friendly, helpful and kind. We were on first name terms! The Pearl Bar was a great place to hang out; played pool, met lots of people, good old fashioned music. Close to beach and main street, so offered plenty of choice. Enough going on but not overwhelming. Highly recommend. "

"Great service from all the staff, so helpful and friendly. The resort itself was a little rundown in places. Also no signs to let you know for example pools were closed. There was also no obvious food/places to drink so even though the staff were the highlight of the resort the lack of atmosphere and signage let it down a little. Beautiful room, great jacuzzi and beautiful beach that felt like you had it to yourself at times 😀. Overall a nice little place."

"We stayed 5 nights oceanfront king bed villa 114. Room was very spacious. Right beside bar restaurant that opened at 11am. Other restaurant was open for breakfast. Omlette station was good. Other fruits, coffee etc was decent. 2 pools on one side and one pool on other aide of villa. Staff and servers were extremely friendly and helpful. Live music Sunday and Thursday night's along with nice fire show. I will come again and will stay for a month! Gorgeous beach! Ocean good for swimming....

"The peaceful resort was a pleasant surprise! The staff were very friendly and we spent the first night in the garden view room. It was nice but the towels left so much lint everywhere but it was okay because we were being upgraded to a pool view room for the rest of our stay anyways. "The eco-focus of this adorable hotel shines through. The fantastic dinner was a delightful surprise, with local dishes I hadn't previously experienced. The service was delightful and the location is a perfect jumping-off spot for the Trang islands. The eco-consciousness of this hotel is present without feeling overt - really delightful. "

"When I take the night train to Trang I always stay at Thumrin because it is big enough to always have a room available for early check-in. Decor and furnishings a little long in the tooth but who cares at this price. Corner rooms have nice view but all the windows can challenge the air-con."

"Very eco-and family-friendly beach resort with many amenities. Most of the guests have young children. Pristine, sandy beach with clear, calm water. Lots of comfortable chase lounges on the beach in the shade. Included breakfast has a wide and delicious assortment. Restaurant service is OK-very slow. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. The resort is walking distance to tons of restaurants and easy to catch a ride anywhere."
