"This is an older property, the third floor bedrooms were chilly and generated a lot of condensation which was uncomfortable to sleep in. Generally the rooms just need updating but the communal areas are well looked after and much warmer. "

I deducted one star was because the pool was shut for one of the days i stayed & the lodge is totally cashless, though the staff were very understanding that i only had cash on the first day & waited to take the room deposit. Friendly & helpful staff, with a lovely housekeeper who was especially generous with the biscuits & hot chocolate! Would definitely stay again."

The room was a little tired but still nice, and the bathroom floor could have done with a good clean, but the rest of the bathroom was spotless.
