"This hotel was a real find. A lovely stay and was a real lovely place to come back to at the end of a busy day out. The rooms were very well appointed modern, clean with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. If I had to be really picky I would have liked a wider range of food available for breakfast as in a selection of bread not just brown or white sliced, and freshly prepared fresh fruit. Alternatives for people who do not appreciate English Breakfast at that early time in the morning....

"We're regular customers at The Dolphin, when visiting Swansea. The hotel is good value for money. However on this occasion, the staff member who check us in was rude and dismissive. Staff can make or break a stay if someone has never been there before. We will return again, hoping for a better experience. "

"Comfortable, standard room booked, drain in shower needs clearing to enable free flow in drain. Food and service the strongest points."

"Staff were fantastic and the food was excellent. Room was really dirty, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and falling on us while we sleep and some of the furniture was caked in dust. Shower and sink had hot water in the evening but in the morning there was no hot water."

"The hotel and room were clean. However, the bed was not that comfortable as it had a slight slope on each side which tended to roll you out. Breakfast was OK but the food was obviously cooked in advance and then heated up to be served. This didn’t make the food as enjoyable as it would have been had it been freshly cooked. "

"Really, Really enjoyed our stay, all the staff were very polite, very friendly, especially Emma the Supervisor. Very clean room, comfortable bed. We were pleased, as one reviewer had said it was noisy, with the rooms being over the bar, and loud music, this was not true. We were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary. Try it for yourself. "
