"Looked after extremely well. Not certain about the lack of amenities in the double room for disabled people. Nowhere to hang bathroom robes or wash bags and for a non-disabled person the wash basin was extremely low, small and difficult as an older person to use. "

"Pros : Great welcome from Jack. Shown to room 3 which was a double en-suite. Perfectly adequate for us. Nice clean bedding and a clean shower and wc. The room was tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. A small compact room with a well stocked tea tray. The weather was lovely so it was great to open the window fully for a nice breeze. "An out of town hotel, part of the Greene King pub chain. Room was clean and comfy apart from the radiators which were tempremental/not working (meaning the room was a little cold. Bathroom was a bit dated but not a show stopper."

"The Spa Hotel sits just above the gorgeous coastline with an easy path down to the seaside. It is a slightly steep hill up to the town center, but that's easily walkable. The restaurant was excellent and everyone so kind and friendly. I saw the most spectacular sunrise and sunset at the property. You can't help but fall in love with the Hotel and it's natural beauty in the seaside surroundings."

"Very friendly staff in this pub with rooms located in a peaceful village setting outside the hustle and bustle of Whitby. Very good food, brilliant breakfast and a grand pot of tea. Local doorstep walks and a super walk into Whitby for those fit and active. A great find. Hope to visit again."
