"Never again! When I arrived they had no record of my booking, even though I showed them the booking confirmation. After almost an hour they agreed to give me a room. When we were in the room it was freezing, it was -2 in the room, we tried the heating but it didn’t work. Asked reception to move us but they said they didn’t have any other rooms made up. We left at 6am because we couldn’t stand the cold."

"I only stayed one night & didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on the food. Check in & out was quick & efficient & the staff were very friendly. Room was on the small side but adequate. Bathroom was clean, modern & included a bath. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We were in room six (I think), on the ground floor in the car park. It was a little noisy as the floorboards were very squeaky and there was a room above us. Also, there were no windows you could open and I like some fresh air. Finally on the downside, the bathroom door was very ill-fitting so was tricky to close and was in no way sound proof... On the plus side, the bed was comfy and it was good value for its central location. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. I wouldn't...

"This is a lovely cosy B&B. The breakfast was brilliant (smoked salmon plus home made marmalade) and service excellent too. My room was very spacious, one small point - the bathroom was so hot, even though I turned off the towel rail socket the rail was still roasting. I can really recommend for business stays around Corby. I'd love to bring my wife here for a short stay to explore Rutland. "
