Room, was clean (dusty on head board) sofa bed mattress very thin, son didn't sleep to well both nights, shower head.wouldnt sit straight but lovely shower. Room either cold or to hot, very chilli by window. Food was nice on the first night, 2nd night the curry was not so good, very small portions, rice very bland. Breakfast was fantastic, such a good selection.All staff were excellent, very attentive. We will definitely be back....

"Arrived very late, flight delays and then a road closure forcing a substantial detour. Thankfully my room card had been left out with a useful note and I was able to access the room. It was cold, no curtains, and couldn't figure out the heating but the bed was warm and that was all I cared about! Shower okay in the morning, Job done. Thanks."

"Nice cosy hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful . Had superior rooms over looking the street , they were very spacious with lovely comfortable bed and had everything needed for a stay . Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of food , good quality and tasty for the cost . Sunday roast lunch is lovely. Definitely recommend this hotel and looking forward to returning. "

"Bit of a palaver at check-in when they thought initially I hadn’t paid, but soon sorted out. Good bar staff and food, and breakfast was cooked skilfully and hot. More confusion over my breakfast being included in my price, which again was sorted but special mention to Monique at breakfast service who is clearly a credit to Greene King, not only sorting my issues but also imparting good information on the surrounding area."
